Our Fees
There is an emergency fee charged to all clients. This is to meet the additional costs of maintaining a well-equipped, and fully staffed emergency facility, which is open 24-hours a day.
Additional professional fees may include: examinations, hospitalization, surgery, injections & medications, fluid therapy, anesthesia, x-rays, oxygen therapy, & laboratory.
Payment Policy
To avoid misunderstanding, the emergency fee and form of payment will be discussed prior to admitting your pet. The doctor will outline a treatment proposal after the initial examination. In some cases a full evaluation of your pet may take several hours, and an accurate treatment proposal may be delayed until then.
If your pets condition changes after being admitted, we will contact you for verbal authorization of further treatment, except in an extreme emergency.
Fees are due at the time of services rendered. We accept cash, checks with Telecheck approval, and honor all major credit cards as a convenience to our clients. We also offer CareCredit. Please ask any staff member for more information.
You may also apply for CareCredit online prior to your visit at AEUC (see our links page for more information). If you are approved online please be sure to bring 2 forms of ID and your new CareCredit account number with you.
We are sorry, but we are unable to bill you for services.
