Craig Roberts - Registered Veterinary Technician, Operations Manager

I have had a love of animals since I can remember and always had several pets living in my room. My childhood was spent catching or observing snakes, lizards, bugs, and anything that moved. I even had a 'pet' bat for a short time. I thought it would keep the mosquito population down, but my parents had other thoughts about bats and made me set it free. My first real paying job was in a pet store in Garden Grove, CA when I was about thirteen.

A knee injury while playing church league basketball brought me into the veterinary health field from the construction industry.  Temporarily disabled and pondering my career options, I enrolled into the San Joaquin Valley College Veterinary Technology Program. After graduation, I received my California RVT certification in August of 1991. I have been employed by AEUC both as a part-time technician from 1990 to 2000 and full-time in a management position since 2001.
